there are fighters some people never heard of that had better resumes than both Pacquaio and Mayweather and were close in skill and talent

IMO just based off his talent, skill, and level of opposition, and resume I put canzoneri in my top ten all-time

People put Roberto Duran, Ray Leonard, Pacquaio in the top 10 and don't even know who Tony Canzoneri is.....SMH...they aren't even close to facing the type of competition he did.
There's no reason to not do a little studying.

    Basketball currently has Jordan
    Baseball has Babe Ruth
(American) Football has.. idk actually, is it Joe Montana?

Is it necessary to know the past? Not really, but once you start talking who is who and making lists then you better know a bit of the past before talking up present fighters.

most people on this site are fan boys who follow one or two fighters

      I love the history aspect

These are the top ten fighters of all time IMO...in no particular order, I change it so much....this is the greatest in my opinion, not the best

      Sugar Ray Robinson
      Harry Greb
      Sam Langforde
      Benny Leonard
      Tony Canzoneri
      Willie Pep
      Ezzard Charles
      Jimmy Wilde
      Henry Armstrong
      Joe Gans
