I feel like the "sweet science" is so apparent in the "black and white" generation but a lot of the fighters tend to go for the gusto with their punches.

Interesting I read that Canzoneri is one of the few men to hold 2-division titles at once.

this guy fought a draw as 19 year old with the bantamweight champion, won the featherweight, lightweight, and jr welterweight titles before he was 22

If he fought in an era where the made more money and they didn't have to fight so much, he would have far less losses

He is one of my all time favorites

            I think youre right

the way he used his shoulders and pivoting to counter was sweet

Well considering the pay was probably crap compared to this current era and that men had to fight so often.. It makes sense to try and knock your man out with all you got.

its shame on this site, I see a bunch of pickering but a lot of people on this site don't know anyone outside of Mike Tyson, Ali, Mayweather and Pacquaio

there are fighters some people never heard of that had better resumes than both Pacquaio and Mayweather and were close in skill and talent

IMO just based off his talent, skill, and level of opposition, and resume I put canzoneri in my top ten all-time

People put Roberto Duran, Ray Leonard, Pacquaio in the top 10 and don't even know who Tony Canzoneri is.....SMH...they aren't even close to facing the type of competition he did.
