I can't believe Briggs could back door a WBA regular belt title shot. Just insane but then again Rockhead got a mandatory shot a couple years ago against Povetkin so I guess anything is possible.

As for 'major props', not sure which fight you watched. Wlad grabbed and leaned on Jennings a bunch, and the ref should have taken more than 1 point one time. That's the joke of the event. Just because he grabbed and leaned LESS than he normally has done for the last umpteen fights, doesn't not give him 'major props'. What b.s.
90+ clinches is what he does when he's worried about losing points.

Imagine if the ref hadn't said anything, Wlad probably would have reached the 150s.

        Jennings fought like a girl

Jennings isn't a top 15 heavyweight and is terrible. Wlad won almost every round. ESPN had it 119-109. jennings is a JOKE

Why don't they just invent a 'Regular' WBA Title out of thin air and they can have Chagaev fight for it, where he pretends like he is a champion.

I agree, as boring as it is to watch Klitchko, Jennings didn't win a round.

This holding thing is overplayed. The only time he held excessively was in the Povetkin fight and it showed. EVERYBODY could see it, and Alexander's approach to fighting didn't help matters.

Other then that, it's nothing but a bunch of nerds nitpicking and counting his holds, because they don't like him and that's the only angle they can play since he isn't gonna lose.

                Disagreed.

If the Ref had done anything more, he would be considered an Activist judge with an agenda. Fortunately, the judge was as impartial as you can get. Wlad lost one point and the constant warnings made him more cautious every time a clinch was about to happen.

                Just sour g****s from you.

As I've said plenty, I'm not a fan of Wlads fights when it comes to entertainment.

But this whole holding thing is bull$***** and its about time they called this sh%t on HIS OPPONENTS!

It's reached a point where opponents use the whole "holding" thing to their advantage TRYING to get ref to take of points or trying to make Wlad look bad, like "he was holding and grabbing the whole fight"...

What did Jennings do? His big plan was to jump in on the inside and what did he do with the exception of a few inside body flurries that he threw? Nothing. He did nothing, he charged at Wlad and just held his arms at Wlads lovehandles....Where the **** was Wlad holding there? Where? Show me him HOLD like he did in other fights.

His opponents these days charge in with NOTHING get under his arm pits and complain about holding.......give me a break...

Sure Wlad will stay in the clinch without hesitation but it takes two to tango.

Are his opponents so weak that they can't break out of a hug with Wlad? Is Wlad that big of a beast that he incapacitates opponents with mere brushes of his arms?

You need a game plan if you want to fight on the inside, watch other weight divisions how fighters do the inside game? I see plenty of fighters with one arm tied up work the other and throw uppercuts, move around, try to break out of the clinches...inside game often is a clinch game...

But these heavyweights don't know how to fight on the inside so instead they say they tried to fight on the inside but Wlad held them.......give me a facking break.

They charge in with I don't know what game plan, put their arms down and Wlad walks them down.......rinse repeat........but Wlad is holding right?

Get passed the jab, get inside, and rough him up, throw some uppercuts, free up an arm and work his body, twist your body if he is holding you......but dont complain when you just stand there do nothing and wait for the ref to break you.

Maybe they need a new game plan when fighting Wlad? So far it has been "I just need to get inside" well his defense is too good and everyone is too afraid to actually throw anything on the inside, because guess what happens? See Wlad land those two uppercuts on Jennings? Thats what happens when you actually free up your arms and try to work him on the inside.

Maybe start on his body and move your way up and forget about the inside game for once, which most dont even have it seems.

                    Jennings isn't a top 15 heavy

Jennings is not a good fighter and more of a bum with little talent. Aerrola in shape beats Jennings. Steve Cunningham probably beats Jennings. Jennings is a security gurad nothing more and dumb., Wlad humiliated jennings.
