floyd fought a superior delahoya. pac a superior 126/130 jmm.

hatton, mosley they both fought were similar.

cotto is debatable. cotto was 145 cw but pac was at 130-135 a year earlier. cotto at 154 is meh. evens out imo.
No they were not. Mosley was coming off a big win over Margarito when he fought Mayweather and was generally recognized on the pound for pound list. When he fought Pacquiao he was coming off a one sided loss to to Mayweather and a draw with Sergio Mora while no longer on the pound for pound list. How is that similar?

Losses don't matter. Which of course negates every Manny win

A loss, except an outright robbery like sweet pea/Ramirez or Bradley/many, is always negative on a fighter's resume IMO.
          i see it different.

          most losses hurt. some dont.

a loss (IF COMPETITIVE) is worth more than a win over a lesser fighter.

          my example JMM4 vs. algieri

losing in a FOTY to an hofer like jmm is worth more than waxing a scrub like algieri.

30 yrs from now ppl will remember that great fight. even an L.

next year i'll forget pac even fought algieri.

practically same mosley. old past prime.

just coming from a W or a L doesn't mean much. if around the same time for a fighter.

pac coming from a loss to morales 2006 is same guy coming from a win ove barrera 2007.

Of course it means something. Or we wouldn't keep records. In your rule book, losses don't count, eh?

Wow some are avoiding this thread like the question:

Name the PRIME, ELITE ww fighter that floyd has defeated?
