Not to mention how easily he would dominate Fraizer and Foreman, Vitali vs Fraizer would be an exact copy of Vitali vs Chisora (Chisora and Fraizer are very similar in talent and style)
Oh now he's past prime? Why did all of you say he looked better than ever against Pulev?

Ali simply has way too much talent to be exposed by someone as simplistic as Wlad. Wlad has god-gifted power. He does. But he's also reliant on people standing in front of him with their chin in the air ala Pulev. Or have their feet planted in cement.

You see how bad he dealt with someone as limited as Jennings who is similar to Ali in size but doesn't have anywhere near the talent in any aspect.

    Easy win for Ali.

Wlad has nothing on Ali. He's too slow to compete at that level. People see how Wlad was dealing with Jennings very unconvincingly even though he won every round. Ali would have toyed with him with ease.
I think this is Elroy1's website

And he makes an intriguing point, Ali rarely knocked out legit heavyweights (only like 7) and I doubt he'd be able to KO Wlad.

Wlad is too powerful and strong, if a Dereck Chisora caliber fighter could give him hell imagine what Wlad would do.

Anyone that knows boxing will tell you Wlad would have a torrid time with Ali. He would literally look like he's moving in cement against a butterfly thats popping and stinging him from all angles. Would it be a great fight? Yes absolutely. But it would by far be Wlads biggest test and my pick would be Ali by UD.

A moron like Elroy trying to say Ali couldn't even box today, is just that, a fcuking moron. the guy doesnt have a clue about the sport and should be banned.

The modern day training and nutrition thing gets blown way out of proportion.

Yes we know way more about nutrition now. But there was still quality food back then and fighters knew what to eat to maintain their performance.

Training? Its way less clear cut here. Sure theres big advancements in conditioning, more intervals and weight training is used.. But the fact remains fighters back then consistently fought at a better pace, and got tired less than the big boys today.
Honestly you could bring Ali from 1966, put him straight in against Klitschko, and my money would firmly be on Ali as would lots of others.

Wlad is too big and strong, bigger than anyone Ali ever faced.

If Ali could still be Ali at 230 pounds he would beat Klitschko. It's up to conjecture though. There is a reason why old trainers hated weightlifting it made your tight and it affected your stamina. Would Ali still have legs past the first few rounds. I guess the closest guy to Ali would be Kirk Johnson and as he gained weight he became anchored to the ground and only had fast hands.

185lb career bum Henry Cooper could put Ali down so hard he had to cheat to win.

Handicapped featherfist dwarf Frazier batted him around and down.

But Wladimir, possibly the hardest single shot puncher of all, wouldn't be able to put him down?

                Unbelievable!

Muhammad Ali 60's (so-called prime) was a CHINNY boxer.

Muhammad Ali 70's (his real-prime) had a hard chin for the criteria of his day but untested against anything like the power of the modern HW division.

Common sense tells us his chin could not hold up at all.

It would likely, OBVIOUSLY be on the same level of durability of say, Steve Cunningham!

In fact I would back Steve Cunningham to beat Ali in any fight and think he outperforms him in all attributes also in an absolute sense. Skills, athleticism, speed, the lot.

                  Kirk Johnson wtf?

Anyway, if we had an IN SHAPE Ali at 230lbs he would be so much slower he would be wasted by Wlad who is lb for lb much faster.

Again, compare ultra skilled and athletic Haye to slow plodding overweight Ali and that's a valid comparison.

There's no credible HW opponent he could beat today of any relevance. Pure nut baggery otherwise.

I don't care for Klitschko all that much to be honest, only the truth,

And the truth is, Klitschko dominates guys who would in turn dominate Ali and all of his opponents and knock most of them out.

Wladimir Kltischko himself would probably never lose a round to ANY of them including Ali and knock every single one of them straight out to be honest.

                  LOOK at them!

Wlad and most of his better opponents would never even be ALLOWED to fight Ali or his opponents in reality.

                  That's a fact.

He would likely never step foot into the same ring as Bryant Jennings is even closer to the truth.

Jennings is everything better than Ali ever was and you know it.
