Add to all of that the fact that Wilder has 32 KOS in 33 fights.

^ Agreed. Last night's fight proved a fight with Wilder and Klinchcho would be such a borefest with Klinchcho constantly clinching when Wilder is close, and using his footwork (which is good) to distance himself. Vlad has a more faster jab. And Wilder just plainly being a limited one-punch-KO-finding come forward fighter with limited movements.

All you have to do is look at Wlad's fight against Povetkin (younger and more athletic) to get a sense of how that fight would play out. Yes, I know, Wilder is taller and hits harder but the point being is that anytime Wilder would get in close Wlad immediately ties him up and holds for a 12 round decision. At this stage of Wlad's career he isn't allowing anyone to get close to his glass chin, he'll just hold and stink it up for a 12 round decision.Originally posted by HIGHNESS View Post^ Agreed. He acquitted himself well and that would be a good fight in America, 2 young fighters, the 2 best in that country, and if Jennings could win then he would have some credibility to have a rematch v Wlad, in a unification.
Wlad v Fury
Wilder v Jennings
Povetkin v Joshua (mid-late 2016)
If Wlad could beat Fury, then follow it up with another voluntary at the end of 2015, followed by a unification in the first quarter, another voluntary, then getting rid of someone like Glazkov could set up an early 2017 fight with Joshua. Win and retire, or pass on the torch if Joshua can win. If Wlad sticks around for all that that is around 6 defenses, closes him in on Louis' record, but I really don't think he will break that.
Joshua would get badly beaten up by Povetin by 2016 in my opinon.
Still, I wonder why Klitschko always praises Joshua ... did something "unusual" happen in thoe sparring sessions ?

Late 2016, AJ can potentially be at the level to beat Povetkin. Povetkin is an enigma for me - I never really rated him before the Wlad fight but he has sort of won me over in terms of respecting his skills with his impressive performances v Charr and Takam. If he can beat Perez and maybe Jennings afterwards convincingly, then he deserves a shot at Wlad after he fights Fury, or once Wlad unifies (if he is able to).

I hate unverified rumours but I must admit that the idea of just knowing what happened is mouthwathering. James Ali Bashir said it was " (very) competitive".
Povetkin might be the one to dethrone Wladimir. I must assume that POvetkin is growing on me.
He bounced back in a spectacular way.
2015 and 2016 will be decisive for Klitschko. He must make the adjustments now.
Ego can badly hurt a fighter'S career. Ali, W.Klitschko and Broner already paid the price for it. Ali understood his lesson, and became boxing's greatest hero, Klitschko, until these recent months, has been showing signs that he was understanding it but his last doings were pathetic and I sincerely wish him to come back to reality. And I am saying it as a Klitschko supporter.
Broner... well... no comment.
I hope Mayweather will pay the price for it next saturday !

Good plan.
I'm excited about Wlad fights for the first time in years.
Fury is his biggest threat, and I see that fight being very close as it looks like Wlad has slowed down just that little bit.
Fury just might be catching him at the right time.
