Who did you want him to fight? Walters?

It's on the Mayweather-Pacquaio undercard. They're not going to be able to pay everyone.

As for Santa Cruz - laughable comparison. He's stealing a living and been doing it for a long time now.

well vetyeka was paid $95,000 against donaire and that was when he was champion. he's probably the best fighter in the wbo's top 10 apart from mares, who would probably make a better santa cruz opponent

LSC's guy was picked a week before the fight and he has literally fought his own sparring partners for the past year

It is his 5th fight, he needs to pad his record a bit and really get a pro style. I have no issue with him beating up several scrubby to srubbyish dudes. Sure he won a title but guy is not a finished product, I think the guy has real talent so i personally want to see him maximize that.

I am sorry that that will involve accepting him beating up some schleps.

Plus 10-1 looks way better than 9-1, if you are looking for a time frame when he should step on the gas again.

Everyone keeps saying it's his 5th fight, so what? He is a world titlist now, he isn't a prospect and he never wanted to be viewed as one. We have to apply the same rules for everyone, if it's LSC, it's gotta be the same for Loma. And the guy has only fought one "threat" as some of you like to say, in his 5 fight career in which he is a WBO titlist only cos the guy who beat him up lost the title on the scales.

            Just saying.

even so, the guy lomachenko fighting in his 5th fight, would probably be one of the best guys leo has fought in his what, 25 fight career.

loma-rodriguez is a pretty ****ty fight, but leo santa cruz is the true chicken here.

The guy is rated pretty well with the WBO though.

Not sure how but its not Lomachebko's problem.

Well it is kind of Lomachenko's problem, he is fighting the guy but not like he arranged this dude to be highly rated by the WBO. They have names to pull out of hats for that.
