Now here is an example of someone twisting the words as I mentioned, claiming that GGG is not in a rush to fight Ward when Ward's camp has clearly stated that HE wants a tune up or two before considering the fight. People seem to read what they want to read and make up their own meaning for the words when they are right there in black and white in front of their face.Comment

IF this is the first time you've heard it, it is only because you have not been paying attention. This is what GGG's camp has been saying for over the past two years now. It has never changed and never wavered. It is fans that have twisted the words to suit their own agendas.

At this point there is still no money to be made with a Ward fight. He needs to build his brand back up, in fact has to build it up higher than it has ever been as he was never a huge draw even after the Super Six was over. There is no point in a Ward fight if he brings less to the table than Monroe does.
And Ward will have to accept that he is NOT the A side anymore in a GGG fight. As should be very much in evidence in having to fight on BET because both Showtime and HBO sent him packing.Comment

Because Ward was unable to fight until he finished with his court battles. Then there was no money in a Ward fight, still is not at this point. Then Ward signed with Roc Nation and then Roc Nation stated that Ward wants a couple of tune up fights before considering a GGG fight. So the statements have changed slightly as Ward's situation has changed.

It's a fact. Ward is fighting on BET. Deny it all you want. It's happening. Ward currently brings nothing at all to the table and is asking for the heirloom silverware to fight on HBO. He's gonna wait a long time. Right now he needs GGG a lot more than GGG needs him.Comment

Why doesn't he go down and fight Lara? Hell, Lara has called him out at 160Comment
