If I was a professional boxer no way would I try to lose to please fans. If opportunities and openings present themselved then I would take them but not give opportunities.

This is the huge, huge risk where you have Floyd Mayweather involved in such a massive fight which will have the eyeballs of all the world on it. He has proven himself to not deliver a spectacle, he just doesn't care, he's all about the win. If he's well up on the cards with two rounds to go, he will run like he did against Baldomir, Guerrero, Canelo and Maidana 2.

He is actually one of those fighters who is least likely to deliver a satisfying event.

I've heard some old fighters say he needs to bring it and close the show this time, being that this event is so special. But he won't.

I know his fans will cry and say he needs to fight smart. But when you're a PPV star, I think you have somewhat a responsibility to not run (and I mean run) the last few rounds. Close the show and get the guy out of there.

Let's face it, we are relying on Pacquaio to make this fight satisfactory from a neutral fans perspective. Because Floyd Mayweather cannot be trusted to deliver entertainment, except to his idiotic fanbase.

To an extent you have a point because even when Floyd has guys in trouble he takes his foot off the gas and coast. I believe he could have stopped more fighters but chose to play it safe. I ain't mad at him for winning but definitely would like to see him stop Manny because in my opinion it is very possible for Floyd to stop Manny. I say TKO/KO in rd 10, Mayweather stops Manny.

I actually don't see it as Floyd having to take risk, he's quick, stronger, taller, has a large reach advantage and Pac can't out-think him in the ring.

on the other hand Pac is quick also but he has to take risk to get inside of Floyd's reach, coupled with the fact that he hasn't ko'd anyone in years.

the saying go's that the last thing to leave a fighter is his ko power but with pac it was about the first...why is that?

Whatever. Mayweather could win this fight with his jab alone.

People forget, your first priority in a sporting event is to win. And I think pac has as much a chance of winning as a stray dog in the Philippines
