I think everyone is underestimating Pac's ring IQ.

If you look at all his fights since he landed in America, with the exception of Marquez and the first Morales fight, he has basically blown everyone out round by round. I mean almost winning every single round. Total domination and I don't think anyone realizes that.

If you look at the rounds won it's incredible, and this against the top opposition. Even Mayweather doesn't even come close. Something to think about.

I didn't include the fights before America but if you look at them, they're pretty somewhat similar.

Pac has a very underestimated ring iq. The fact is that he does a lot wrong from a pure technique standpoint but, like Roy Jones jr, he has very good ring intelligence. He can box. The only thing that Pac really is terrible at is cutting off the ring.

Shane pointed out Floyd's shoulder roll is exposed for a left straight down the pipe. Floyd can't use it. That said Floyd will have to use his high guard, and that stance is more of an offensive stance, plus the fact that Pac will be throwing in bunches, if Floyd sits too long and throws fewer punches he will lose.

And that is why this will be a fast pace fight, Floyd will do things he don't normally does which is fight to win more connected points, coz the other guy will use his foot speed and angles to stack up on his punches as well. This will be a fight folks. Both will have to be aggressive.

What I also noticed with Shane's interview, When he faced pac in the ring before the bell, he said he thought how can this midget hurt me Pac looked small. But when Pac landed that KNock down on him and got that buzzing feeling even after the knock down, he said, damn I have 10 more rounds with this dude. He calculated he'll go on a survival mode in the remaining rounds interesting. Shows how strong Pac is.

Bernard Hopkins is the best, he needs to replace Roy jones Jr. on the broadcast team ASAP!!
All fair assessments of what they thought can happen. I agree with Bernard, lots of early action with Floyd figuring Manny out and pulling off a very close decision. People will be calling for a rematch in September .
Love Hopkins. But my only thing with that idea, is he sounds marvelous in situations like this, however, whenever commentating he seems lacklustre. Maybe it's just nerves as someone called out the other week.

He can't always articulate his thoughts....he understands the nuances too much...which is why he always stands up and demonstrates....can't do that while commentating

I guess the punch caused more damage than we thought.

Wow.surprise, surprise ...everyone else applauds the honesty shown and thought it was great....you see Shane criticize one little thing and your feelings are hurt. I really hope you're are 12 years old because if you are a grown man I feel ashamed for anyone associated with you.

Manny is 99% of the time an all out attacking fighter( I did not say face first brawler so don't start crying) so if an attacking fighter is getting the better of things he will most likely be dominating the rounds as opposed to a defensive fighter......if you can't understand that then just end it now
