If Frampton feels he can better offer elsewhere he should go after that, but who else is making him a 1.5 mill offer?
Just because he can't make 1.5million elsewhere doesn't make it a good offer for what the fight is worth. That offer means that Matchroom gets to keep all of the revenue from the fight in terms of the gate and PPV sales which will sell based on Frampton's popularity, not Quigg's - how can you not understand that?

You were snoozing for a while but now you're getting it... welcome to the world of fight promotion.

Money talks. Everybody wants to be Mayweather and get massive paydays, but neither Frampton nor Quigg can generate this kind of revenue without Hearn. Hearn is the guy in the driving seat with the backing & the connections. He's the one who'll pay for the promotion and pocket the lion's share of takings.

And you're supporting Hearn basically trying to rob both fighters?

Hearn has clearly charmed you with his cheeky smile and ridiculous publicity stunts. Did you enjoy paying for Bellew-Cleverly II?

I'm not supporting anybody, I'm just explaining how it works because you seemed confused.

You clearly don't understand how it works. The champion and the draw in the fight is entitled to the lion's share of the purse. A simple 60/40 deal to Frampton and the fight would have got made.

Hearn's arrogance has cost him his big PPV fight that he promised Sky this summer so he's being forced to headline a PPV show with Brook-Gavin which will tank badly.

Yep, that's Eddie "Driving Seat" Hearn

Still arguing about how you'd like it to be. *Yawwwwnnn*. The reality is what it is. Frampton's rejected the offer, which he's entitled to do, and now he'll get paid a fraction of the offered purse for his next fight.

No...that's how it is. Mayweather-Pacquaio is 60/40 to Mayweather because he's the bigger draw in the fight.

Are you new to boxing? Must have started watching when Matchroom came into power.

Frampton will get paid more than Quigg, that's for sure. Somehow you think Matchroom have come out of this smelling of roses.

Mayweather-Pacquaio is 60/40 because Mayweather can negotiate that. Frampton can't.

Well he can't because Eddie Hearn refused to negotiate. Mayweather is getting the bigger purse because he's the bigger draw. It's as simple as that.

How can you not understand that the fighter who sells the tickets and the PPVs is entitled to the greater share of the revenue? How is that not comprehendable to a functioning human being?

If Tyson Fury beats Klitschko and Hearn wants Joshua to fight him, does Joshua get the lion's share because he's with Sky/Matchroom?

For ticket sales to happen there has to be a fight, but there's no fight without money. For a guaranteed purse there has to be financial backing. The promoter always calls the shots because they pay for the promotion and take the financial risk. I know that's not how it is in Dirk's Utopia, but back in the real world that's how it works and how it has always worked.
