I'm concerned as around 95% of those who thought Wlad would win would do it in style with a KO, and perhaps even an early one. In the end it was an albeit comfortable decision, but one that certainly didn't make Wlad look particularly great tonight.

Hopefully it was though just a bad clash of styles.
Jennings had a pretty high guard almost the whole fight, it's damn near impossible to penetrate. Combine that with a low punch out and you can see wlad had very few chances. I'm not making excuses, I just think he did what he could tonight against a guy took very little chances and had great defence.

Fatique(now more than ever with his added muscles and AGE) lack of heart(still as scared as ever to get hit although he reacts better now than in the past) and the weak chin.
Ordinarily I'd agree but I thought tonight he did great. Very impressed with his conditioning.

All i'll say is, Wlad did the job but his lack of punch output was most unnerving for me...he really seemed to be reluctant to throw, and sometimes a lot of his shots looked realllyyyy slow...I also noticed he was sometimes half-heartedly throwing the right, almost throwing elbows like a follow through to take impact away from the glove. Wouldn't be surprised if he is hiding an injury and just doesn't want to make excuses.

Glad I didn't drop $1000 or so in the end to go over to NYC from Europe for this fight...would have regretted that for sure.

I felt warning signs were there vs povetkin. Anyway, anybody wants to cut it Wlad should not be struggling and clearly frustrated vs in truth a very mediocre and highly inexperienced novice . He looked **** and whilst i'm still sort of a fan i'd like to see him retire. He is not only there for the taking but is boring as **** these days. Its not even boxing at this stage, hes invented his own sport. Its nothing but jabbing to the head only, roman greco with the odd thai clinch. Dr feelgrabber

This is true, but he didn't have the power to go with the speed, he's not that fighter. Wilder has the power to go with the speed, but he doesn't have the chin. Puncher's chance of winning.

Fury's size can give Wlad problems, he won't accept the clinch and if Wlad can't hold he could be in trouble.

Lol the fight wouldn't have been worth that long ass plane ride. I agree with what you're saying, he didnt look sharp but I think that has more to do with Jennings defence. Wlad respected him and didnt want to unload punches and get countered. In the 12th he had him hurt, so you can see when given the chance he could bury him. He just didnt have those chances.

              Haha damn...new sport

Introducing the moves the 'grab(imir)' and the 'jab(imir)'.

In all seriousness I can have a laugh and a joke at this expense now and I will give him the benefit of the doubt here but I want Wlad to really think about his future. Subtle warning signs are there, and I'm a die-hard fan but I am rational and objective - I can see that wasn't the Wlad of even several months ago.

I think he has enough in the tank to beat the two tall guys if he is motivated, but he needs to keep his mentality in check and really either ensure he is back to his dominant best or just bow out before he loses.

Go balls out vs Wilder and retire win or lose.

I think it's a different fight. Wlad will respect Wilder but also know what to expect from their sparring days. This would be a firefight though and unless Wlad slows down further he is just fundamentally better than Wilder at this point and should beat him. The longer he waits though, the higher Wilder's chances grow.

Well the plan was also to have a New York weekend but anyway overall it wasn't worth it I felt.

I agree man, just wish he had fought like he did in the 12th, which suggested he was reserving that from the previous rounds for some reason.

Ok guys, before I go off to sleep...I should say that we shouldn't criticise Wlad too much. I think it will make Lampley choke up the tears again...
