Why not give Byrant Jennings some credit???

Instead of preposterous opinions of "wlad is crap" etc.

Lets give jenning some credit. Steve Lillis and co were slating both fighters. Now i barely gave jennings a round, but he showed alot of positives tonight.

He has good head movement, and made wlad miss, he has a good chin, and good footwork. He needs to work on offence but all in all i think he beats Deontaay wilder

Jennings surprised me... he landed some monster shots on Wlad.

If Wilder landed those, it's very likely Wladimir would've gone down.

jennings prepared perfectly for wlad. i dont thnik that tactically he could have done any better.

wlad didnt look too comfortable tonight. much better performance against pulev.

fury-wlad is very very competitive one.

I think Jennings did great tonight. I expected him to be out of there by the 6th or so and he stuck it out til the end. He was a little delusional in the interview at the end but most fighters think their fights are closer than they really are until they watch them back. I don't think there is any reason for a rematch but he will have a good future in the sport for years to come.

blue collar American HW, gotta love them. not trying to be off-putting with the nationalism just saying that he's just the type of guy that I miss having around at HW. Not the greatest but he's a workman,durable.... Hope to see him continue to mix it up with the rest of the division -

This was his Rocky moment. While Wlad was parading around, and this being just another fight; this guy prepared for his once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it paid dividends. Wlad was more focused on the promoting of coming to New York then the fight itself. Technically, he was as prepared physically as in any other fight, since he doesn't slack off, BUT it's the mental aspect of it and where two fighters are heading into a fight.

The bold parts are... interesting. Give Jennings credit if you want, but Wlad looked awful nonetheless.

Jennings is a top class fighter. I expect him to be a world champ one day without a doubt. I know he can beat wilder IMO.

Jennings is one of the most basic and bland heavyweight in recent memory not named Wlad.

Both fighters deserve praise. Jennings surprised us by showing that he is one of the best challengers Wlad has faced and Wlad kept his composure and did a great job himself. When you consider the fact that 83% fans expected Jennings to get knocked out in a fghtnews poll, he did well.
