Not a good spectacle at all, then again I wasn't expecting fireworks.
Jennings posed the same problems for Klitschko in the way that David Haye did with some decent defensive movement. Wlad found it hard to get his jab working enough in order to tee up the big right hand.
Despite being much bigger, Wlad can compete athletically with these guys, and so they never get close. End result is these very boring fights.
I don't see Fury posing too many problems for him, he is gonna give Wlad more opportunities offensively.
I'd get Wilder in with either Glazkov or Tony Thompson in the meantime.

The likes of Klitschko, Mayweather Jr. and Ward do it on an "as needed basis", that is, when the opponent keeps coming on to them throwing dangerous punches and they have no other resource (a legitimate one) to stop him.
If the referees were to enforce a rule such as "after the third warning for clinching, a point must be deducted", the sport would greatly improve. Boring and depressing fights with excessive clinching and other illegal tricks like pushing and using the elbows, would stop happening and there would be more action, more hitting, more exchanges, that's what boxing should be about, not what the likes of these three guys are turning boxing into, sadly.Last edited by sterilizer; 04-26-2015, 02:36 PM.
