He appeals to the angry and insecure. They live vicariously through him.

Give me Mike Tyson throughout his entire boxing career and now any day over Floyd. Mike has more authenticity in his thumb than Floyd has in his entire life thus far.
I won't speak for all boxing fans but I become a fan of a boxer because of the style and skill. I watch boxing for the sport not for the politics, personas, press tours, off the ring issues etc.

I don't have romantic interests or obsessions with the boxers I follow.

Just because you are not attracted to Mayweather and you find Pacquiao appealing (seems more like arousing in your case ) doesn't mean you have to slander what other people appreciate in boxing.

I am critiquing Floyd's public persona, not his boxing talent. I'm neither slandering people's appreciation of boxing nor am I slandering Floyd fans with my comment. I'm not sure you fully understand the meaning of slander. Analyzing and criticizing a person's public persona is legitimate.

As for Pacquiao, I've criticized him plenty in these forums. Sounds like you're looking for something to pick apart because maybe my observation hit too close to home?

Really? Ha, I've seen this time and again, in fact I thought Cotto was going to be too big too strong, Clottey too big too strong, Margarito way too big too strong and they all thought the same thing also. Then Pac rearranged their faces, just like he will do to Floyd. It won't be quite so bad because once Floyd feels the punch he will get on his bike, in fact the faster he does that the better chance he has to win. If though Floyd can't let his pride go or his legs fail him he will get his **** pushed in.

You are slandering other people's opinions. You think that if someone appreciates Mayweather they are:

"angry and insecure, [living] vicariously through him."

I'm not sure you truly understand the meaning of slander as that is the embodiment of slander. You slander people's opinion by attempting to make factual that being a Mayweather fan means you are insecure and angry. That is simply not the case and clearly opinion that you try to pass off on others. By extension you belittle the opinions of Mayweather fans because according to you they are "angry and insecure."

Judging by the bolded part in your quote above however, you not only seem to get a chubby off Pac's "persona" you also seem to get quite excited playing Dr. Phil on a forum.

Seems like you're quite the loser.

I think it's manny who has the mental edge

The hbo documentary showed us that manny was at fault at first negotiations because of drug testing but Floyd ducked the fight ever since until now

Also, there's more pressure on Floyd

And IMO, despite Floyd being the more skilful boxer , PAC has the intangible advantages- styles makes fights and this is not a good style match up for Floyd. And both fighters know this

And as far as the size factor, PAC has faced bigger guys and taller guys

But if Floyd can keep PAC off him, that would be huge for floyd

You still don't understand slander. Yet, you're name-calling. I haven't called you any names and it sounds like you've exposed yourself as "angry and insecure". At least, you're proving it with your responses. Think about it.

I agree completely. Any good shrink will tell you that what you see in someone else is actually the way you feel about yourself. Floyd is the one freaking out

You're an idiot. Here is a quote from you where you slandered Mayweather fans:

                      Slander is defined as:

                      Slander (verb)
make false and damaging statements about (someone).
You slandered Mayweather fans by attempting to group them with people who are angry and insecure individuals. Thus stating the only people who are fans of Mayweather are angry and insecure.

In response to me calling you names, you said:

"Sounds like you're looking for something to pick apart because maybe my observation hit too close to home?"

Do you think I'm an idiot? If in reference to my response you said that your "observation" hit to close to home for me than by extension you are calling me "angry and insecure."

So your first post called Mayweather fans "angry and insecure" and then you called me angry and insecure. Are you really attempting to play the victim? You were the one who jumped into this thread attempting to play Dr. Phil. Don't make blanket statements and then not expect return fire for your baseless accusations, also don't be upset if someone calls you out on your ***** tendencies (I mean seriously you watch boxing for personas why are you EVEN TALKING?). Your original post was not a critique of Mayweather's persona. It was a rhetorical question where you asked how people can be fans of mayweather and answered yourself by assuming that all mayweather fans are "angry and insecure." It was slander intended to defame the character of Mayweather fans.

You are either trolling or an imbecile. Read a dictionary before returning to the thread.
