Let's see the stats for the last two years of fights. That should be easy to figure out because it's only 8 fights to look up for Golovkin and let's see here... only ONE Ward fight to check. Sounds like a fair comparison.
hilarious that you seem to be the only person on this site to try and use the "Golovkin is so mangnamimous a fighter that he will intentially walk into a fight bloated, in the name of making a tougher fight for himself". whatever floats your boat.

The Ward-Dawson weights are available, Ward made the weight easy for the Rodriguez fight, and there were no issues on Ward's part in making the day-of limit of 180 for the Rodriguez fight.

wonder what Golovkin's day-of weight was for Golovkin-Murray, since that'd be a fight where he logically wouldn't have to add on excess weight, to make a tougher fight for himself, lol.

Golovkin lost that luxury once his camp set his sights on every fighter 154-168.

And all those champions are just lining up to fight him, aren't they! Oh wait... No, they aren't. In fact not one of them has ever made an offer. Not Ward, not Froch, not Mayweather at 154, not Cotto, and on and on and on... they are all mute.

lmao at how many times GGG was mentioned in this thread when it has nothing to do with him. I guess he's at that level now.

Wards resume>>>>Kovelev's, fighting blown up 50 year old SMW's smh.

Ward is only held back because of a corrupt contract.

Ward is younger than both men as well. Ward is the most feared man in boxing period. GGG and Froch duck him. Meanwhile we've got Kovalev ducking like likes of Stevenson.

SMH somebody always gotta cry around and piss themselves. Its a catchweight at 172, if a fighter can make the weight, wheres the problem? And if both fighters agreed on a specific weight, why is that a problem? Wouldnt matter if it was at 168, 169, 170.75 or even 175, bcuz these hating @$$3$ would still have gripes. If a fighter agrees on a weight, thats his problem.
164, 168, or 172lbs, doesnt matter bcuz Ward would still whoop ur favorite fighters @$$

You must be kidding. Ward is the most feared man in boxing? Hilarious. Keep them coming. At best, perhaps there was a time when Ward was the most feared man in boxing (perhaps that is - with his low K.O. percentage, I can't see why he would have been). Now however, Ward himself knows that he isn't what he used to be (otherwise why is he fighting Paul Smith on June 20th)? As for Ward beating Kovalev, that is really being optimistic. I doubt that Ward would ever get into the ring with Sergey or even Beterbiev.
