It's not really about that, it's about governing bodies of the sport, and even the courts doing their job properly. The man gets a pass and no suspension when the likes of Ray Rice receive heavy punishment, and gets a delay to his prison sentence to perform in a sports event.

Ray Rice got off punishment through the courts, because she recanted...so whats you point? If he served a jail sentence maybe his punishment wouldn't have been as severe.
