I understand people are a fan of Mayweather, but the guy beat his wife to the point his kid had to call the cops. Think about it, his kid had to save his mom from a beating, hats off to the kid, and by the way the kid reacted, going straight to the phone at sight, I BET it wasn't the first time he saw it either.

I think as well you have to look at various things. His upbringing, which was crazy to say the least, i mean being a toddler and seeing your dad get shot is crazzzzy! And the world he travels in. You can't make an excuse for this kind of behavior, all you can do is hope it changes. because past this year, i think the law will be on him. because he's no longer generating that kind of money where he's an asset to them. I think he needs counseling which i think most people need on earth to put things in a different perspective. Mental health is actually an issue!!!

I think there is also another aspect people need to address, being fans, you can't pin your dreams and hopes on these guys. imo Though Manny has turned his "perspective" to god, his past of cheating on his marriage with Jinky is bad too! Though yes he doesn't beat his wife...but these guys aren't role models, these guys are boxers!!! THESE GUYS ARE BOXERS!!!!

it's odd in U.S. culture this affixation with role models as athletes is crazy!!! And some of these athletes aren't good role models, just like some people out there. What makes them so different, their flesh and blood like you and me.
