isn't it literally called 'black entertainment network'? not that i care but i'm not sure such a business would even be legal in the eu, being explicitly discriminatory like that.

anyway, i don't buy that ward doesn't have a fanbase in boxing; his ratings are generally pretty good if i remember right. i suspect this fight being televised on such a marginal channel is more to do with roc nation's status in the sport than ward's.

Sorry, but you're wrong on so many levels. Firstly, Roc Nation purposely proposed this fight to air on BET. And BET was more than obliged. Even though BET is not necessarily a race-based network, Ward could use the support of the Black American boxing fans. It seems that these are the only guys he gets support from anyway at this current time.
