Was I biased when I was touting him for FOTY? Kovalev had a strong case at that time too, along with 6-7 other fighters but Stevenson was my pick because I felt he deserved it.

Main Events have just delivered us Hopkins v Kovalev, and Pascal v Kovalev inside 6 months. Did you not want those fights? Did you not enjoy those fights? But we're supposed to hammer on Duva who sent her fighter into the opponent's back yard multiple times to put them on? I trust they want the fight, their track record demonstrates it, just not on Haymon TV owing primarily to their association with HBO.

No, they signed to fight someone else, and in this very article they have said their target was Hopkins (which ultimately wasn't true either).

Hard to know, he claimed to want Hopkins and didn't follow through. To be honest, I think he just wants easy money.
