Perhaps Khan should earn it first.

He wont get the chance his only hope lies on a May the 2nd date and I doubt Floyd will extend his contract or be willing to wait to fight him.
Canelo for September makes perfect sense for Floyd If he wins against Pacquiao which I assume he will.

It doesn't matter anyway, Mayweather is old news now.. Khan is the future, so who cares if Floyd keeps running, it's not like a shock or anything.. lol..

Let's face it, Khan should just take it as a compliment that Floyd's scared of him and just dominate boxing for next few years.

what about Cotto 2? wouldn't be a bad way to finish the career by beating Cotto and holding titles in 3 weight classes at the same time

Khan wouldve made a good candidate when he was a 140lber bcuz he actually fought the top guys. Of all the WWs, Thurman has the best win so far. Brooks still in the running if he gets a big win(not Gavin). Khan eliminated himself when he chose not to fight the top guys at 147. Ramadan has nothing to do with Khan not getn his dream fight and everything to do with his opposition level.

Brook can't get another big win from now to September lol but it would be a easy fight for Floyd for him to fight Kell but also a very cheap move.
Floyd would be better off retiring on a big name from 154lbs because apart from a rematch with Pacman there isn't anything there.

Khan isn't the future. Get real. He's not going to be the future by fighting Algieri, who lost every round to Pacquiao.

The fact is, Khan's not a big draw, and it's my understanding that most of Britain dislikes him. He's also close to the end of his career, since he's 28, and he said he would retire by 30. In all likelihood, nobody is going to remember Khan after he retires.

Floyd is still the big draw, and #1 P4P fighter in the world.

I predict Thurman or Brook would knock Khan out and end his career.

I think I remember you saying Collazo would end Khan as well.

Hmm.. seem to remember Mayweather actually ducking Khan to fight Maidana - someone Khan already beat years earlier when Maidana was in his prime and not battle-weary, shot-worn version Floyd fought. I'm sure you were the first to criticize Floyd for doing that, right...
