Khan put all his eggs in one basket just to fight Mayweather. Now there is a strong chance he NEVER fights Mayweather. He just wasted 2 years of his prime fighting bums because he didn't want to risk losing and at the advice of Haymon. Haymon screwed him over promising him Mayweather. He would of made more money and increased his popularity if he fought better competition. Instead he's a joke begging for a fight that won't happen and that he didn't earn.

I actually heard that Shah Khan (Amir's father) has said the fight with Brook will NEVER happen.
Reason being that the Matchroom have disrespected Khan and tried to 'shame' him into a fight.
Which is strange because in a way, Khan has shamed himself by begging Floyd for years...
Follow the money and find the truth.
Khan ducked.

If you look at the timetable and Khan's opponents is clear what happened. Before 2013 Khan fought Maidana, Peterson, Garcia, Judah, Malignaggi, Barerra, Kotelnik and tried to fight Bradley who turned down the fight. Nobody questioned him about ducking fighters he was fighting the best guys at 140. Then he loses to Danny Garica end of 2012. Takes a soft touch to rebuild confidence then all a sudden in 2013 something changes. Khan starts doing interviews saying he's been promised Mayweather's next fight. Clearly Haymon get's in his ear and becomes part of his team. It's no longer just Golden Boy running his career it's Haymon and Golden Boy. Haymon is the only one who could promise Mayweather.
In 2013 Golden Boy has a deal for him to fight Alexander and Khan backs out the deal last minute. He backs out because Haymon tells him to because at the time Alexander is a risky fight and another lose kills the Mayweather fight. Early 2014 he officially signs with Haymon. Problem is Mayweather unlike any other Haymon fighter calls his own shots. People falsely give Haymon credit for the Mayweather/Pacman fight. Let's be clear this fight is happening because Mayweather wants the fight to happen not because of Haymon. Khan was lined up and promised Mayweather for May 2014 but Maidana upset Broner and Broner had a rematch clause which he exercised and was due to fight him again. But Mayweather switched and decided to fight Maidana. Haymon paid Broner to drop the rematch clause and Mayweather fought Maidana. Since then Haymon keeps telling Khan you got next but Mayweather is his own boss and fought Maidana twice and now Pacman. Since Khan got with Haymon he's been fighting bums that Haymon picks out turning down career paydays hopping to cash in with Mayweather.
Haymon has ruined Khan's career and reputation by promising him a fight with Mayweather that he can't deliver.Last edited by bigdunny1; 04-24-2015, 10:45 AM.

I think Khan has to shoulder a lot of the blame for the Brook fight not happening. That is a lot to do with his own ego. At least he doesn't hide behind Haymon like Santa Cruz.
But it's no coincidence that his reputation has turned to **** since hooking up with Uncle Al.

But it does not really explain why he won't take a fight with Brook.
For me, there is no logical explanation for ducking Brook.
Unless Khan is scared to lose, again...

He would give up the biggest potential fight of his career because of his religion?
I can't help but think that's way too extreme, you can follow a religion but you're meaning to tell me you're going to let it get in the way of you making history!
I'm sure all the devout ******s who follow it to a tee would be more than understanding to him taking this one year off from the fasting or whatever else.
