In the long run...that's bad business... When Floyd retires, MGM will be hurting if Top Rank chooses not to have their fights there. Top Rank will continue on even when Arum dies...
Dude, this is America. Floyd's people secured the side of MGM before Top Rank did or they paid more for the spot than TR did. It's not bad business or poor judgment-it's capitalism.

I doubt TMT had to pay for their advertising. MGM I'm assuming does it's own advertising and ultimately can decide for themselves whether placing certain ads/promotions are good for their business.

      It's their responsibility.

You think MGM gives away that space for free? Ok, let's assume they did even though the thought of that is preposterous.

Why would they then put Floyd up when Manny is fighting?

ummm.... Floyd/TMT is a client and they make money from the fight. So they are able to do their own advertising because they profit from it.

And again, at their end, it's their decision and should take responsibility for it. If Floyd's team paid for it (which I doubt)..they can turn it down noting that they have a rival client using the premises.

ok ... but it's their decision to allow it. As a business, they should understand the perspective of each client.

Just not smart from a business sense.

It's probably gonna be the biggest TMT crowd we have ever seen.

Dan said in an ESPN a blog post he was unhappy that the 1st question came from the guy at The examiner or examiner.com and not a major media outlet. why?, dan had no idea.

Dan said its being rescheduled for a few major media outlets.

Dude you really are making no sense.

TMT paid for the space in advance. MGM gave it to them because they paid for it first.

The truth is Bob was deciding between Macau and Vegas and they purchased the space when Bob was deciding. That's fair game and actually exactly how things should work.

                      Come on dude!!
