Why did the judges give Danny Garcia the fight?

He got smacked around with the jab and right hand all night, had a little bit of success in the middle rounds, missed almost every punch he threw in the later rounds also. Then got beat up in the last rounds.

Peterson looked great with the movement and slipping punches making danny miss and landed at will. Why wasnt he the winner ?

Because he gave away the first 6 rounds he screwed himself now stop crying about it

The crowd was booing for the first half of the fight because Peterson was boxing so much that he was not engaging. He had a better second half but he gave one of those rounds away. No robbery in this fight

It's because although Peterson won his rounds more clearly and dominantly, he gave away too many rounds just by a lack of activity. The fight was very reminiscent of Canelo-Lara

They didn't give Danny anything. They just scored a close fight correctly. Sure Peterson beat the hell out of him in the late rounds but all rounds of a fight are scored from round 1 to round 12. Unless there is a 10-8 round all rounds count the same. Peterson lost too many of the early rounds by running away and throwing very few punches. Sure he stayed out of range and made Danny miss but he never made him pay. In the rounds Peterson ran neither man landed much but Danny threw and landed more punches than Peterson landed. It was a very close fight and you believe Peterson won it but I don't agree. I was rooting for Peterson to win it and he damn near did but he went on the attack just a bit too late.

Cause Garcia had to live up to his nickname Gift. Some fighters build a career around the villain role, some around the good boy role, etc etc. Garcia has built his careed around gift decisions.

only because lamont didn't throw enough in the opening rounds. apart from that, danny got outboxed, beaten up, and outclassed in every department.
