Hymen thinks that the rest of the boxing world is just going to bend to his will. F-that. Tell that super fake pimp to get his happy ass back over to HBO so he can get his ass whooped on a network with real world class HD production, not some second rate high school schit.Comment

This is laughable.
As if Michel and Duva need to meet in person with Hershmann to get an offer put on the table.
You think HBO doesnt already have a number in mind?
Duva can do like all other promoters do and send GYM a contract. But she hasnt has she?
Duva can put out a press release saying Michel hasnt down with her yet, but she cant put out a press release saying how much she offers Stevenson for the fight?
Please.Comment

Lol and we know damn well it wouldnt even reach those numbers.
The PPV market has changed.
Cotto vs Martinez did 300K. Neighter Kovalev or Stevenson are close to that in name recognition.
It will kill on PPV in Canada but thats got nothing to do with HBO or SHO or PBC.Comment

In the past, boxers were paid "step aside " money so that two other guys could match up. I suggest that one side or the other gives the other entity "step aside " money so that this fight gets done.
If it means Haymon gets a few million, or HBO gets it, then so be it.
MAKE IT HAPPEN!Comment

Duva really pi$$ed down her leg here. She lobbied the WBC to make Kov the mandatory believing Stevenson would back down again and Kovalev could pick up the then vacant WBC belt in his next fight. This all backfires when GYM pushes for a purse bid. Now she's forced to accept the purse bid, knowing she won't win thus crapping on her revenue source (HBO). She's in over her head.
It would be interesting if Main Events accepted the purse bid. We'd get to see how bad Stevenson really wants the fight.
Duvas screw-ups aside, I still think Kovalev wins the fight. Although with power like Stevensons you never knowComment
