"Sergey is an HBO fighter and he plans to reamin with HBO -- the number one US network for professional boxing -- for the foreseeable future"
She must missed out the whole PBC thing.
    NBC numbers >HBO numbers
foreseeable ESPN PBC number will probably also higher than HBO numbers.
Because it's free. Duva knows it exactly just try to spin it. Networks are like landlords nowadays, they hold on fighters like on their dear life and lock them from others. It's not good. Networks should compete for fighters no need for exclusive contracts.

Inb4 someone come and bark me about Floyd's Showtime contract and etc... I meant same rules apply to everyone.

As far as I know he's tied up too with Sho/CBS.

So Stevenson, who is basically a nobody these days, isn't even under contract with Showtime but wants to force Kovalev to void his HBO contract to chase a nobody around?

Nobody on either side actually thinks that will happen

Same old ****, reminds me of Pascal's fake drug test demand, like he got cold feet and wanted out of the fight and started lobbing idle contract demands around

Hopkins is a real fighter, when Adonis ducked him he immediately signed with Kovalev, no phony stalling/demands

Their hoe card continues to get pulled. There's a reason team Stevenson wanted this purse bid to begin with but it's alright. Adonis needs to go his way and Main Events can continue to hide behind that hbo curtain that they love so much. I'm sure there'll be a slew of big fights for him. Best of luck to them

Take your the pretty belts and parade like you want a fight that we all know you truly don't. Advise sergey to not get overly emotional and show his racist colors while you're at it

Wow! Duva thinks the Stevenson camp needs to come to reality! Actually, both camps are operating in reality. Stevenson's camp knows that both fighters can make more money from a purse bid, AKA a PBC-sponsored fight, than simply by taking whatever HBO offers.

Duva knows that she can't win a purse bid. She also knows that she can't afford to bite the hand -- the only hand -- that feeds her in HBO. If she has to throw her fighter under the bus to keep the relationship and the money offered by HBO, that is exactly what she will do.

From some posts it feels like if Kovalev and Duva would slay 16 years old teen girls it would be still Stevensin's fault somehow.
But seriously. This exact situation, not the past, not the future but this exact situation. So how the fuck is this Steveson's fault? He wants the fight already --> People complaining and hating on him. I don't get it

Forget fault, if Stevenson wants to fight Kovalev sign the contract, they're open to the fight on HBO.

If he want to continue fighting cans on Showtime, well stop talking about fighting Kovalev.

Stevenson would probably make more money fighting a rematch with Fonfara on a PBC-sponsored event on NBC than he would fighting Kovalev on HBO.
