well he does. Mayweather never throws fight ending punches and rarely puts his weight behind his shots, because he is a defensive minded fighter. That's why he is very hard to hit because while he is punching he is already thinking of ducking, slipping, catching a punch etc.. As a result he never puts anything in his punches, he never puts his weight on them, or sits down on them because that will require him to plant his feet and risk getting caught with incoming fire.

Marquez will plant his feet and throw with conviction. Big difference, but I guess people who've never boxed wouldn't understand this,

Just because he commits more does not mean he hits harder, and Marquez clearly doesn't.

I too agree that Floyd hits a little bit harder than Marquez. The reason Floyd has a lower KO percentage to Marqiezs' is that Floyd is more of a defense fighter and Marquez is more of a counter puncher knock outer. Try and corner Floyd and you will see him swinging very powerful right hooks and left hooks. One of those two punches will be Pacs doom.
