True some are just naturally heavy handed. Unfortunately floyd is not one of those. The guy has brittle hands so yeah marquez definitely hits harder.

Why do you guys get so defensive talking about mayweather's power? LOL he is an incredible boxer but he doesn't have much pop at this point of his career especially with all the hand injuries he's had.

Maybe I missed it but I never saw him hurt maidana, guerrero, alvarez. He snapped their heads back and made them tentative mostly because of floyds accuracy and elusiveness not power. They were never close to getting dropped. Cotto was the last guy I saw mayweather buckle with a shot cotto didn't see and that was an exhausted cotto in the 12th round.

Mayweather lands like over 50% of his power shots yet you very rarely see guys get hurt. That says a lot.

Their sensitivity to this issue really proves how fanatical these guys are, it's like you insulted their mother. God forbid you mention Floyd isn't totally perfect. Your last point is what I always reference when discussing his power. He's incredibly accurate and rarely has a guy in danger. Taking a deep breathe and a step back isn't being on the verge of a ko. Its a big turn around in physics in this fight a big power shift from previous opponents , Manny has not been in with a guy this big with the speed and over all talent Floyd has , Manny might look fast and a good boxer against C grade Rios and Algieri but Im telling you if he makes the same mistakes against Floyd he is going to get beat up , watch for Floyds uppercut to catch Manny hard , left hook to the body and straight right those shots will land and Manny will feel them , Floyd will control the distance and always have Manny a 1/2 step outside and Floyd will split Mannys combos with counters , even Rios did it a few times and Manny propped on the spot , Manny has no inside fight at all and Floyd will bash him on the inside .

Floyd is going to stop him dont be shocked when it happens .

yes manny is a little faster or maybe much much faster but, what?
whats being faster going to achieve against floyd? why does faster hands have the edge?
floyd doesnt have to move his hands to show his magnificent defence.
hes gonna be looking how fast manny can throw from the off, if manny adjusts his speed floyd will adjust his reaction time, if manny throws harder floyd will see the momentum in the shot and use it to off balance pac and hit him hard.
manny will go over in this one i believe a few times unless he respects fmjs far superior boxing ability.
speed does kill if your not looking in the direction of the traffic.

Floyd had Victor Ortiz at his mercy when he cowardly ambushed him. Ortiz was relaxed not even looking. Floyd teed off with his hardest & best combination on a vulnerable Ortiz. Even then Floyd couldn't knock Ortiz out.
Victor got up & was soon smiling again. Floyd couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding ROFL
