  • Comments Thread For: Foreman Says Mayweather May Go Into Hiding After Loss

Former world heavyweight champion George Foreman likes Manny Pacquiao over unbeaten Floyd Mayweather in their welterweight showdown next week in Las Vegas, and warns a loss could devastate Mayweather.

Foreman has plenty of experience in a similar situation, having suffered his first career defeat in a megabout spectacular in Zaire to Muhammad Ali in the fabled 1974 "Rumble in the Jungle."

And he sees a strong start for Pacquiao, a big rally by Mayweather but a decision for the Filipino icon, who is 57-5 with two drawn and 38 knockouts.

Perhaps he would for a while, who knows? I do believe he'd be coming for that rematch like a man possessed though.

These greats really hate to see mayweather make it to the top...it's just a peraona. It's just to sell tickets. But these guys won't even back a fellow American because he says he's the greatest. I wonder how foreman will look when he is wrong?

IF PAC wins, especially decisively, I don't know that May would want a rematch. I believe he's training possessed now and if he lost I think it would really affect his psyche knowing he gave everything he had.

And foreman's right about the incredible amount of pressure that's on May. This fight has been so incredibly built up that a loss would be pretty devastating I think

                    Typical Fl0mo response:

Insert ATG name here__________ has been wanting Floyd to lose for a long time now.
