How about a mix of both? Keep the score cards away from the audience but reveal it to the trainers so they know when their fighter is behind, up against biased judging and up the ante to go for the KO, or use a different strategy when they know their fighter is ahead on points.

I think if they know their fighter is winning but alot then they would tell them to run like de la hoya vs trinidad
