Gatti was well on his way out.. forgot handpicked marquez and forcing him up 2 WEIGHT classes and didn't even make the contracted weight, forgot he handpicked Guerrero, handpicked Victor the quitter Ortiz, he handpicked Maidana after a Broner win..
good business moves is all I say!
F**k that Mayweather's first fight at 147 was suppose to be with Judah and Judah priced himself out of negotiations so Mayweather ended up fighting another southpaw in Sharmba Mitchell!
F**k that Zab Judah losing to Baldomir is what actually made the fight versus Mayweather possible, because, at that point he HAD to take less money to get his butt in the ring. Mayweather immediately vacated his tainted belt, btw.
F**k that Baldomir was walking around with the WBC belt, which Mayweather has held in every division he's competed in, to my knowledge, AND the lineal Welterweight title. He should have said f**k legacy then and went for the money.
F**k that Gatti's name and popularity in Vegas was used to promote Mayweather's first ppv appearance and Gatti, again, held the division's WBC belt.
F**k the FACT that Victor Ortiz had just had a phenomenal fight with the undefeated Andre Berto and was the newly crowned WBC World Champion. That belt wasn't vacant. He payed the iron price.
F**k that people, supposedly boxing fans, put him in a position where, if he fought Guerrero, he was ducking Canelo and, if he fought Canelo, he was ducking Guerrero. He went ahead and beat them one after the other, btw.
And f**k that you can't seriously name another fighter that you would rather he fight other than Maidana, who, again, was a CHAMPION at 147 after dethroning the fighter closest to resembling Mayweather's style.
He's hand-picking CHAMPIONS! World champions that are earning and/ or defending their belts! It's unfair.
I, honestly, can't condone the Juan Manuel Marquez situation, despite believing that Mayweather does that to him any Saturday they share a ring or four rounds a day if they're sparring.Last edited by purecyse; 04-23-2015, 11:55 AM.

Imo, this is the end of the road for both guys. Win or lose with a possible rematch only if warranted.

Ridiculous statement from Ar-Scum. Floyd isn't going to stop dating women. He should be about 75-4 by the time he's 60.

If he wins like JMM did. Yes ride out. Dont fight again.
If the fight is super close and a Gatti /Ward type of fight...Lets see it again! A demanded rematch will produce more money.
If its a Bradley 1 type win...No way can he retire or should with a gift decision and controversy.
If he just out classes Manny or out points him with a lopsided victory...retire on it.
