Anybody agree with TMZ about the ticket hold up was due to Manny's team being unhappy with the ticket distribution because of Floyd's MGM ties? Floyd got the better seats and Manny's team wanted equality.

It sounds petty enough to be plausible.

Also is it for sure they will be holding closed circuit at MGM like they've done for most other Mayweather and Pac fights? On Ticketmaster I'm not seeing MGM listed and I think for Mayweather/Canelo they didn't have closed circuit at MGM...
MGM ballroom- if they use it will be the best closed circuit......for de la hoya vs floyd they set up enormous tent in mgm parking lot with many screens - it was excellent wild scene
Mandalay isnt as great but still works: the screen is in the middle and has 4 sides to view
        - I think which locations they use depends on how many sell out...in this case there may be like 2-3 locations with closed circuit to deal with this ridic demand

OK mirage is included and in 2 spaces there.

Never been in there. Grand ballroom or Cherry theater?

That is because tickets were never actually on sale. They simply had to give the public the illusion that they would be able to buy tickets to this fight. There won't be a single casual fan at this fight. There will only be officials from both camps, family and friends of both camps, celebrities who were willing to pay the steep prices and high stakes gamblers who frequent the MGM Grand. The closest that a casual fan will get to this fight is a $150 ticket to one of the Vegas closed-circuit events.

I'm sure there were tickets on sale - problem is there were only 500 of them, LOL. People said the same for the cheap seats in the Canelo fight but I was lucky enough to get one of those through TM so know 1st hand they were available...
