More like Magic Johnson. SRR is the Jordan of boxing.

i dont think lebron even went that far as saying he's better than mj?? atleast not to my knowledge. he was in an interview before and they brought up the fact that michael jordan says kobe bryant is better than lebron and lebron respectfully brushed it off and didnt make a big deal out of it.

Ali wasn't shy for his admiration towards SRR. Floyd on the other hand has no humility what so ever. Same goes for SRR's admiration towards Joe Luis, SRL admiration towards Ali, ect..

FMJ is not very humble because deep down he knows he is not 'TBE', he is not 'The Peoples Champion', he knows his mere 47-0 has been dwarfed and shadowed by others like JCC 90-0, SRR 100+-0, so he desperately feels the need to verbally boost his worth and wealth. He only mentions past greats when trying to excuse his flawed behavior, smh...

FMJ is not bad by any stretch obviously, but he wants where he falls short. He uses his zero to paint a distorted portrait where he is a huge, brave, rugged, unstoppable hero who fights for the weak....
When in reality he is not the biggest guy by any means at all, he takes very little risks, is more twinkle toes than knock'em sock'em, and he only cares about himself.

btw, I am not a FMJ hater; I appreciate his skills but am not blind to his flaws
Why does he have to be humble?

The funniest thing reading a lot of these posts is that people just mad at another man cause he is not doing with his life what THEY feel he should be doing.

Who is anybody in the world to tell that man he should or has to be humble, stop flashing his money, trash talking people, etc?

Floyd is living his life how he wants to live it. If you don't like it that is fine but to judge him, downgrade him and for some even hate him is crazy.

If any of yall who don't like how he lives and wouldn't do what he does or say what he says that is fine. At the sametime though that doesn't make you RIGHT and FLoyd WRONG.

        Plain and simple

round of applause for Mayweather and excercising his natural born American right of freedom of speech, aside from that point Mayweather is simply doing what Ali was doing back in the day when he was a young 22 year old kid calling himself The Greatest, if any fighter today at 22 years old called himself the Greatest of all time what would u think? yea you'd be upset too and butt hurt the same way you're butt hurt about TBE claiming he's better than Ali

I hear a lot of conspiracy theories on these threads, so I have an honest question. How does everyone feel about the "phantom punch" during the fight between Liston and Ali? Is it real or just a hoax?
