I thought Mayweather was smarter than that. To say this just before the big fight? Remember there's 3 men judging the fight and it's likely those older guys really respect the legacy of Ali. With Mayweather pointing to his undefeated record as evidence of being better than Ali... A couple of the judges might easily be inclined to score rounds for Pacman.

I try to not get caught in the Floyd / anti-floyd debates, but I have to weigh in on class. Class is a SOCIO-ECONOMIC term. Which means your social standing is directly tied to your economic status. The only way to have class in the true meaning of the word is to have a certain amount of money. The meaning has been diluted over time, and now people think of things such as modesty as classy, when in fact it is not. Just because YOU associate something as classy does not change the origin of what the word truly means. If you want to see people as arrogant as Floyd with no manners to others go to any country club in America.

As far as the TBE comments go, any athlete that does not believe that he is the best ever will NEVER reach ATG status. Pac, Marquez, Brady,
kobe, etc. Every athlete can be criticized for past performances, even Floyd. As I said before, it is called SELF-ESTEEM, and there is nothing wrong with that.
