Lots of negative stuff here. But Floyd DOES stand for hard work, and he says it all the time. Why is that so bad?
Also: We don't KNOW if he's a woman beater. A Christian would point out, "judge not, lest ye be judged." I'm sure other religions have similar wisdom.
As for Ali, many Americans hated him in the 60s for "dodging" the draft. They believed he only stood for himself, and not for his country "right or wrong", or for its values. LATER everyone admired him. But not in the day. The blue collar guys rooted for Frazier to kill Ali in 1970. They hated his guts.
Wrong, be honest The white blue collar guys rooted for Frazier to kill Ali. The rest of America just wanted to see a good fight.Comment

The biggest reason people say Ali is the greatest is mainly because of what he had to deal with outside the ring, and the stands he took on social issues. Floyd is also great but hes a tap dancing coon, he doesnt stand for anything, hes a fame whore.. I think thats why people (especially blacks) feel he shouldnt put himself nowhere near Ali. In judging an athlete, people tend to weigh in not just his performances but the athlete overall as a human being.
This is also why Jack Johnson is respected. He faced racism and backlash on a level not even Ali had to deal with, and he was a source of inspiration. Floyd is kinda like Jordan, of course they are great, only an idiot would deny that, but like i said people tend to factor in other things not related to sports, and those guys are nothing more than just great athletes, thats where it stops.
The people who love Pacman would tell you most of the reasons they support him has nothing to do with boxing. Hes kinda like their Ali... Floyd is a circus clown, a mascot, he stands for nothing and has no morals , and people will factor this in when judging him years from now.Comment

If you believe this, then you should be the last person try to judge him. Based on knowledge of the sport alone, I would call you an idiot!.Comment

Also the woman that accused him of woman beating, at one time admitted under oath in another case she accused him of beating her, that she lied !!!
She even went as far as to say, she lied because she was jealous of Floyd female friend, and that he would never hurt a fly.
It is well known, that you can't build facts from lies !Comment
