An odd article about Al Haymon and Mexican fighters
Collapse
-
Haymon hasn't done much to connect with Mexican and Mexican American boxing fans, or done all that much with the Mexican and Mexican American fighters in his stable.
And now,]without Golden Boy Promotions doing his promoting, I wouldn't expect it to improve without some changes.
If there are enough of them, hopefully Oscar (or somebody) will see this dissatisfaction as an opportunity and capitalize on it.Comment

But I think there's truth to the argument that Haymon doesn't connect very well with Mexican and Mexican American audiences, just like I think there's truth to the argument Arum doesn't really connect with Black American audiences.Comment
