no he was never very good and he never had a day. he didn't beat a top 10 guy in the 90's unless you count the robbery against george oldman. his only top 10 win was against lyakovich 7 or 8 years ago with 1 second left in a fight he was about to lose. fatass lyakovich fell out the damn ring and couldn't lift himself back up because he was so fat and out of shape. briggs then went on to lose to ibragimov another crap fighter who couldn't even beat ray austin.

If Fury is too sissy to challenge he may have too. With Fury record of withdrawing from ordered eliminations with the WBC and IBF I fear Wlad may be stuck for opponents unwilling to face him for less than he offers if they aren't mandated.

Hopefully Fury goes through with the fight, Peter Fury hasn't filled me with confidence either, with his on record statement about whomever pays most they will fight next. Fury should put title glory before fights against guys without belts, he said numerous times he is the best and only fights the best, time for him to prove it.

Are you implying Wlad will vacate as opposed to defend because he has to face Fury, or have you missed the point of my post ? because it is I that believes he will once again avoid Wladimir, in hopes of an easier title fight against Wilder or a payday versus somebody else not in receipt of a belt but a larger grossing fight.
