Have one channel start at 8pm and the other at 10pm? If they were smart they'd agree to things like this in the future. Everyone wins.
I think Haymon took their venue for March, so then they were scrambling around for a date/venue. They got Verona and I don't remember when either was announced.... would have to check for that....but mostly spawned from Stub Hub center being taken the 28th of March

Nah, just responding. And it looks like after Haymon took Stub hub Venue, that's when they (HBO/Banner) put it on the same date

            Jan 19th

            Feb 19th

So after Haymon took their venue, they went same date and close to same time to mess with them

Oh so HBO/TR/Golden Boy made the decision to go on the same date? Thought it was the other way around.

That's what it looks like. Haymon/Jr had their date set long before Provo/Matts did. Then again, that as supposed to be March 28th

puts boxing as a sport into perspective, 1.35m would be peanuts in soccer but in boxing its good numbers.

The peak Showtime number is pretty good, the average isn't great.

Really good numbers for Matthysse-Provodnikov though. Obviously word was out.
