Well known but sometimes controversial strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza who is working with undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr., is not bothered by the tirade against him by Floyd Mayweather Sr, the father and trainer of the WBC/WBA welterweight champion.
Ariza told BoxingScene.com/New Standard that Floyd had told him not to mind his dad.
A guest on the popular radio show On the Ropes, Mayweather Sr reacted strongly when asked whether Ariza participates in strengthening Floyd.
A seemingly incredulous Mayweather Sr said “Strengthening him? That Son of a ***** ain’t strengthening nobody. He ain’t nobody. He’s in there, I can’t say exactly what he’s doing, but he ain’t strength training little Floyd. What Floyd’s doing, everybody’s helping. Its not just one person.”
