I know Main Events declined going to purse bid so what does that mean? Is Kovalev-Stevenson unlikely to happen now in 2015? Can a deal be reached?

KOv/Duva are avoiding the fight. They will fight his IBF mandatory, I believe Mohammedi (sp) next and then move on to other things. He resigned to HBO.

It's looking very unlikely. If they couldn't reach an agreement before, I'm not holding my breath for one now.

I still can't believe Kovalev's side walked from the purse bid. They knew it was coming the second he beat Pascal. I thought it was the entire reason they wanted Kovalev to become the WBC mandatory to begin with. If Duva doesn't do everything she possibly can to make this fight, she and Kovalev will deserve all the scorn that comes their way. Even she does, they'll still deserve blame for walking from the purse bid.

Kovalev wants the fight and so does duva but they have signed with hbo and cannot win the pursebid so they offered to split all income 50/50 and fight on hbo, duckinson seem to not agree.
who has 3 belts and are the one with higher ratings and have fought the best opponents the last years? It's kovalev and stevenson was the fool who jumped ship and got out of his way to not make the fight with kovalev first, there is no unreasonoble demands from duva, the biggest problem is the which broadcaster should air the fight.
HBO was screwed over by duckinson vs kovalev in the first place, trying to build that fight and they don't want their rival showtim/hayman steal what they invested in
