Quality fighter Ruslan, with the right promoter he might be a two weight world champion and 27-1-0 or 27-0-1.

As it is, he's 24-4 and struggling to land another fight. C'est la vie.
I agree. He'd put a damn hurting on Berto.

I voted for Robert Garcia because of the improvement I've seen in Marcos Maidana since he started training with Garcia, Maidana was in a similar situation as Provodnikov and Garcia brought him back to boxing and guided him to a world title and to 2 fights with Floyd Mayweather, which he did very well in considering his level of talent, Garcia succeeded in adding an effective jab, feints and head movement to Maidana's game, all are things that Provodnikov absolutely needs if he wants to fight at the elite level

for some reason i think john david jackson would be a good fit.

mainly due to kovalev being a brutal puncher that has been turned into a controlled aggression type boxer - puncher with good movement..
