Broner took plenty of punishment against Maidana. Maidana is better than Matthyese. He's not as pretty or flashy but he is better(I myself prefer Lucas) and more effective.

Not 100% disagreeing with you, and Maidana is a freaking beast when on a good night, getting ND seems to just piss him more, but Matthysse seems to have better boxing skills when he chooses to use them. I think he's getting smarter about it rather than just going there and trying to beat the crap out of people. I mean, he went 12 rounds with Provodnikov and barely had a bit of swelling in one eye. I though it would have been a more damaging night for Lucas but the beating was so one sided it wasnt even funny. Anyone that wants a rematch just doesnt give a fk about Provodnikov's well being.
