Racism is no different than it was in Ali's time

America just does a better job at not presenting it blatantly like saying coon, ****** in our faces and don't put it in magazines front page with picks of us as caricature of apes n inhuman

You can't even make a thread on this site giving him credit as a great fighter without facial slurs

Look at videos with him n his fam on YouTube or social media....it's sad

The only people I know that act like racism isn't running rampant is the ones who don't deal with it on a daily

He deals with it more than Ali because of the internet

It doesn't count as racism when sent over the internet. Judging by this thread.

Uh... yes it is. Do you know anything about the Jim Crow laws? You do know Black people were legally barred from being in public places, schools, public transportation, etc basically all facets of everyday life in the same capacity as Whites. Black people couldn't vote, couldn't live in certain areas, list goes on and on.

I'm not saying racism doesn't exist. That is a mind state, it will never go away. But the way that racism is executed on a social and legal level is VASTLY different than it was during the pre Civil Rights era. There really is no debating that.

He deals with it more than Ali because of the internet
He may see more racist comments on the internet just like any Asian, White, Black, Spanish, etc 8 year old with a smart phone can. But he most definitely does not deal with more racism than Ali did.

Floyd can go to any restaurant in the country and sit wherever he wants. He can go for a run during training, stop at any water fountain and drink water. He can rent out movie theaters, amusement parks, etc. He can send his children to whatever school he or they want to attend. He can vote.

**** outta here with this internet crybaby phaggotry

It does count and is unacceptable. However, saying its worse than what people of Ali's generation went through is pathetic.
