I peeped that long ago, that the "Money" persona is not an act. Its clearly a part of who he is and has become. He's had people that were in his personal life come out and say he was out of control when it comes to money and what he does with it. I will say it seems it has got somewhat better in the past 1-2 years in terms of making sure he has for the long road, not in terms of flaunting it though. He completely lights up when people acknowledge his money, or home, or cars. He gets giddy.

Hopkins touched on this once, how they ran into each other once and the first thing Floyd has to say is something about Hopkins needs to see his new house, instead saying hello and talking about normal stuff. Its just like the Showtime episode that aired, what is the first thing he does with Katie Couric? out of all things he tries to impress her by knowing what watch she had on.

I wonder if this video has anything to do with it?

It really amazes me how anyone can be a fan of his.

Appreciate his skills, sure. But a fan?? I dont get it.

Floyd is annoying.....period, what I find comical in this thread, is people who have probably never exp. racism telling others what is and is not racist.

Also what people dont understand Ali faced racism that was outfront and shouted out. Were as today Floyd could be shaking the hand of a guy and 20 minutes later, that same guy is calling him a monkey or ******, hiding behind his keyboard.

Just turn off the computer.....lol. No one on here can imagine having there Facebook/Instagram/etc being constantly berated with racist and hatred on a daily basis. He is a brand and attempts to reach out to those who support him....he doesnt have the option like we do, to just shut his account off.

My personal opinion: Floyd should not be comparing his exp. to Ali's....Ali's was hell compared to Floyd's.

            Absolutely not true

And he doesn't truly believe it himself

Because He's said in the past in an interview many years ago "they used to dog Muhammad Ali. Spit on him and call him n****"

But I do think merchant and lampley don't like him and merchant more so for racial reasons

It's the bad guy image that's gotten him rich but he still wants to complain

Well this is clearly ****** and not true, but I don't have sympathy for someone who is a victim of racism if they are racist themselves. Also, while it is wrong to be made a victim by ignorant racists, I think he'd find it would happen a lot less if he weren't such a ****.

Mayweather is just an ignorant uneducated mother****er who happens to be good at boxing. That's the truth.

I think Ali suffered just a little more racism than Floyd. I might be wrong. What I'm obsolutely sure about is the fact that Floyd is hated very very much. You have to question where this hate is coming from. Might be driven by envy, might be driven by racism. Stop the hate y'all.

this is what i don't get about floyd and some of his fans.

It being an act or not, floyd chose to behave like a douche in public. I believed he said something like "Doesn't matter if they pay me to lose. As long as they pay" or something along those lines.

However, he and his fans complain about his "haters".

If he's going to be an arse, then at least own up to it.

I think it's mostly because floyd is an *******. At least that's how he's seen by the public.

Race and envy has little to do with it.
