Lol canelo keeping it classy. He kinda subtly insulted him when he said "when u don't take it seriously that's what happens "

It's just the truth, but 155lbs isn't exactly doing things by the book either.

To be fair its not like Chavez Jr went up in weight by choice, it was more because he couldn't make 160 anymore. I think Chavez thought Fonfara was tough but very beatable and underestimated him.

Good stuff from Canelo I know they had a litte rivalry going there for a little bit but at the end of the day they are both warriors that step Into the ring and they demand respect. Also if Canelo and Chavez jr had fought back in the day Canelo would have won but it would have been tough cause of Chavez jrs size advantage.

No he wouldn't. Chavez jr was probably thee biggest fighter and had the best chin and world class stamina at 160. Nelo wouldn't hurt him, he'd get tired and Jr would have stopped him late if they fought at 160. Just because jr was fighting at light heavy and looked like $h!t doesn't mean he wasn't a formidable middleweight because he was.

Canelo is quoted here for saying the truth. Bob already admitted that Jr was a fraud. Too bad because if he took it very seriously he had some solid tools to have become a good fighter

Canelo is just telling the truth. Everybody knows Chavez doesn't have the work ethics and doesn't respect boxing. As for comparing Canelo vs Chavez. Canelo would of beaten the hell out Chavez. Say what you want about Canelo you don't hear stories of blowing off trainers, he doesn't miss weight, he doesn't get busted for drugs and you don't hear stories of him partying too hard. Canelo is more dedicated to boxing and has more skills, faster hands, better defense etc.

Canelo has faced and beaten higher level of competition then Chavez. Only thing Chavez has is carefully matched fights to ensure he has 20 pounds or more on his fighter. He faces Canelo and it's either Sergio all over again where he loses every round or he gets stopped like this last weekend. Canelo wins either way only mystery is if Chavez is too big to get stopped. If Chavez had any dedication and could make weight this fight would of happened and he would of gotten his brains beat out by Canelo.
