Al Haymon is the most powerful man in boxing. He put Chavez in with someone who is good. Thank You Al Haymon for showing the world that Chavez Jr is a sack of ****.

Jr. has been exposed many times before. Vanda, Zbik, Martinez, Vera.
We all knew who he was. Every fighter within range of his weight wanted a piece. Fonfara got the golden ticket this time around.

Arum continually claimed he wanted Froch-Chavez though, which would've had the same result.
Losing to a hall of famer does not have the same effect as losing to an average unknown fighter. Chavez would still get beaten by Froch, but it would be more understandable and forgivable. Plus if you're going to lose, lose for big money. That's why Arum took the risk with Martinez.

well I think he has every reason to be upset......its like you build a business up...dedicate all your time to it.....sponsor it....even though other ways might be easier to see the guy you groomed run to your competitor and give up all your contacts and then work for him....I have no issue with a fighter seeking a better deal financial and career wise......but at least be a man and honour your existing contract....before you jump ship....karma is a *****.

Haymon exposed your work of sticking him in the ring with weak opposition and only time he did step up and take a risk when he was with top rank got schooled 11-1 by Martinez bob don't be bitter

I think all concerned underestimated Fonfara, the new Kelly Pavlik.

His entitlement mentality shows even when he is in the ring. I don't know if this knockout loss will humble him or not, but from has track record, he doesn't care. Let's see if he goes back to 168 where he may still be the bigger guy in the ring on fight night.

It's too bad the fight with GGG didn't happen. It probably will never even be considered at this point, like he tweeted about shortly after Golovkin/Macklin.
triple G said he still wants Chavez fight
