That was a clear 10-8 round. One of the biggest problems in boxing is thag rounds like that count the same as rounds where you just squeak by. It makes no sense

It needs to be a round where it is completely one sided and the fighter is in danger of a kd or stoppage with little to no offense coming from that fighter. You can't just score a 10-8 because the fighter lost the round and absorbed punishment. The only time there was any danger of a kd in the fight was when matthyse got caught late in the fight.

Truthfully I switched my stream to the uk version because of him. I don't care about cattle country, Argentina nor whatever small town ruslans from. During the fight I want a play by play and analysis of the actual fight. Not a bio that'll have me disinterested or possibly not know what's landing if I were a casual.

Dominating a round and out landing a guy 4-1 with vicious power punches absolutely deserves 10-8. Like I said it makes no sense that a round like that counts as much as a round you barely win or a pick em round

This was a brutal round. The fight could have been 3-2 Matthysse going into this round, and Ruslan got pummeled. But I too don't think it was a 10-8 round because Ruslan never appeared to be in serious trouble and he was firing back. I've seen worse.

After this fight you have to add Provodnikov to those conversations about ATG chins. The way he ate those bombs and just kept coming. It didn't seem human.
