i complain more about the mediocre match-ups. who really cares about chavez jr vs fonfara???? sure it's a tough fight for chavez jr but we could of had chavez jr vs ggg or chavez jr vs froch. but haymon had to go and ruin it.

haymon is just bad for boxing. and he doesn't know anything about managing fighters. look at the state of danny's career, quillin, stevenson, mares, santa cruz, etc. all of these guys have taken big hits to their reputation and their popularity on the decline. chavez jr's reputation is dirt now that he got stopped against fonafara when he could have lost to someone like ggg or froch and it would have been forgivable.

complaining is what we do in between fights....hell, we complain during fights too
It is how you pick out long time boxing fans, if you act as a bitter old man would, you have been watching boxing for long enough.

If you aren't like a bitter old man, you are still a boxing rookie.

That hope of youth has to die before you truly get boxing, then all you have is complaining. I am 34 I can't remember the last fight I was excited was going to happen, there are fights I like, fights I know I will enjoy (also fights I know that will suck) but getting excited before hand I had to have been in High School.
