But what was he thinking putting chavez who hasnt been in the ring in over a year against someone who a legit contender, someone who just fought the champ and dropped him....that so unlike Haymon to put a dangerous opponent aganst his big names ..especially when he just signed the fighter....What ya take?

Remember Broner fought Maidana too so there was no agenda.
Haymon is caught between being a manager and a promoter. Having Chavez lose was a ****** decision by a promoter but a good decision as Fonfara's manager.
He just hurt his cash cow.

Haymon is a terrible match maker, we should know this by now given how Danny, Stevenson, Chavez, Broner and LSC are being built. LSC won't fight anyone, Broner got match up terribly for moving up to 147. Danny lost to Herrera and would have lost had Peterson thrown the first 6 rounds.
Whether it's him picking the fights or him going with names and letting the fighters pick them, he's doing it wrong.

meanwhile, Arum is laughing his as.s off to the bank...
Jr. was never that good in the 1st place. In the end, Haymon is in a win-win because he will still make money off Jr. because he has his father's name and now has a rematch in his back pocket for Stevenson if the Kov/Adonis fight doesnt happen.
