Even though Chavez won only one round, the whole time I was thinking that Fonfara would get robbed blind if it went to a decision. Now that you mention it, I'd also be very interested to know those scores.

Pull yourself together and quit crying like a pussy.
Yes, his two fights prior to Fonfara were at 173 and 168, but against a 160 lb. guy, Vera. I give full credit to Fonfara for his win, hope he gets the Stevenson rematch. But, the size advantage Fonfara had against Chavez was clear. Honestly, don't know what weight class Chavez belongs at. Possibly 168, kind of like Broner when he tested the waters at 147. Thought Chavez fought decent last night, but just bit off more than he could chew against a solid light-heavyweight, pretty much jumped up 2 weight classes in opponent size. But, yeah like you said, this is a result of him not watching his weight in between fights.

As for punching power, I mean Chavez wasn't really much of a hitter even at 160, so I have no idea how he thought he could make it against 175 lb. guys.

He should try 168 for a while. Not a good idea to skip a weight class.

No, actually, all three judges had Fonfara winning pretty clearly, 88-81 twice and 89-80. Posted on boxrec.
